A gem of rammed earth construction dating from the early last century, inherited from a Tribal Chief of the Aït Atta. Located in the village of N'Koob in the province of Zagora at an altitude of 1,050 metres, between the Drâa valley and the Ziz valley, Kasbah Baha Baha is a true oasis of calm and freshness built around a large garden and a pitcher-shaped swimming pool. This authentic kasbah of Berber origin and style has been entirely restored in the finest artisanal tradition. Set within a 2-hectare garden, it features 15 rooms and suites decorated in perfect harmony with local traditions. Its rammed earth construction, authentically decorated rooms, warm fireplace corner, organic cuisine, kitchen garden, aromatic plants, goat-rearing area, 360° panoramic view, pure air and calm atmosphere inspire relaxation and well-being. Duplex
Le Duplex is located on the ground floor within the garden and combines elegance with Moroccan tradition. It spans an area of 25 m2 and is equipped with air conditioning. On the ground floor, you will find the main bedroom with a double bed, a separate bathroom and toilet, as well as a small living room with a fireplace. The upper floor of the duplex features a single bedroom with access to a spacious private terrace offering a splendid view of the kasbah and the oasis. Le Duplex offers privacy and comfort.
Chambre Authentique
The room is located on the upper floor of the Kasbah, offering a pleasant view of the Kasbah garden and the Oasis. Spanning 20 m2 and traditionally decorated, it features two interconnecting rooms with a double bed and a single bed crafted from woven palm leaves, dressed with locally woven wool blankets. A handwashing basin made from local traditional pottery is installed in the room to enhance the experience. All authentic rooms share common bathrooms.
Chambre Classique — Rez-de-chaussée
The room is located on the ground floor, covers 16 m² and is equipped with air conditioning. It features a simple and subtle traditional décor with beds crafted from woven palm leaves and locally woven wool blankets, as well as a private bathroom finished in Tadellakt. It offers a calm and soothing atmosphere.

Kasbah Baha Baha carries forward a centuries-old Berber architectural heritage by carefully restoring a pisé dwelling inherited from the Aït Atta. Rooted in the only village in Morocco home to more than forty traditional kasbahs, it invites travellers into an authentic immersion in Amazigh culture, far from the noise of the world. Here, slow travel, organic produce from the kitchen garden and genuine cultural exchange form the heart of a hospitality that is sustainable and deeply respectful of people and land.
How to get here without a car
When to visit?
Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) for ideal temperatures for hiking in the Jbel Saghro and discovering the kasbahs. Winter is mild during the day and perfect for a cozy fireplace in the evening.
Local producers involved
Our own organic vegetable garden, on-site goat farming, and aromatic plants grown on the estate. Meals are built around local produce from the village of N'Koob and the Zagora region.
