Agriturismo Poggio Ferrata is an organic farm located in the heart of the Alta Murgia natural park, near Ruvo di Puglia in Puglia. In operation for several generations, this historic farmstead dating back to the early 20th century is one of the pioneers of agritourism in the region and is deeply committed to an ecological and sustainable approach. The estate offers an authentic countryside experience, with rustic rooms, dining based on farm-grown produce, and outdoor activities in nature. Visitors can discover environmentally respectful farming practices, take part in rural life, and enjoy a peaceful setting surrounded by forests, trails, and the typical landscapes of the Murge.
Poggio Ferrata believes in mindful and sustainable tourism, rooted in the essential values of manual labour, respect for nature and family harmony. The farm favours agriculture free from chemical inputs, with mechanisation kept to an absolute minimum, in order to produce in a natural and authentic way. Every choice — from rainwater harvesting to free-range farming — reflects an active commitment to fighting climate change.

The farm produces and processes its own olive oils, wines, durum wheat flours of the Cappelli variety, legumes, vegetables, fruits, meat and eggs. The menus change according to seasonality and harvest availability, and products can be purchased directly on site.
