16 bed eco lodge at the heart of South Africa's Big 5, malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve, offering a true wilderness adventure and eco safari experience. Our rates are in South African rands and cover very comfortable, private accommodation, all meals and snacks, and twice daily bush walks and game drives throughout the 75000 hectare wilderness with our expert local guides, Jonny and Justice. There is also a huge viewing deck (big enough for 18 yoga mats if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful, wellness retreat space). We have no running water or electricity, with genius alternatives to add to the back to basics experience.

Our camp, built from natural materials, operates without running water or conventional electricity, offering an authentic African bush experience.
How to get here without a car
When to visit?
The best time to stay at Mosetlha is during the southern dry season, from May to September, when the vegetation is less dense and animals gather around watering holes, offering exceptional wildlife sightings. The cool nights and starry skies are particularly spectacular.
Local producers involved
The camp prepares hearty home-cooked meals using local and traditional South African produce, with a focus on regional suppliers from the North West province. Organic ingredients are incorporated into the menu based on local availability.
