This stay

Aux Cinq Sens is a place for retreats, unique accommodations, and rustic forest camping in Piopolis, in the Mégantic region of Estrie (the Eastern Townships), at the heart of the Mont-Mégantic International Dark Sky Reserve.

Set on a preserved 20-acre natural site, stay in a mini-house, mini-chalet, or yurt, or camp in a hammock tent, on a tent site, or in a van. A calm and intimate place to unplug and reconnect with nature.

As an Indigenous tourism business, Aux Cinq Sens also offers retreats and immersive nature experiences: stargazing, medicinal plants, the Marche des Nomades, and other activities guided by a respectful vision of the land and all living things.

The host's philosophy

Paula and Benoit, members of the Wendat First Nation, welcome their guests on a protected 20-acre forest site, guided by ancestral values that place respect for the land and all living things at the heart of every stay. They actively share their knowledge — astronomy, Indigenous stories, reflections on water and wood consumption — to invite each visitor into a deep and mindful reconnection with nature. Their consistent, grounded approach makes Hébergement aux Cinq Sens far more than a place to stay: it is a space of meaning, silence, and authentic cultural encounter.
