Once the home of a miller's family, our cosy holiday home now accommodates 6 (or up to 8) guests in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Set amidst a wild and romantic 7,000 m² natural garden featuring two streams, it is located in a rural area of southern Ireland. When restoring this little gem, our focus was entirely on sustainability, with features including electricity from our own solar panel system, a heat pump, our own water supply, a modern on-site sewage treatment system, and good insulation. There are plenty of hiking areas and quaint little towns in the surrounding area, but no tourism to speak of. The sandy beaches of the Irish Copper Coast are about a 30-minute drive away.
