Perched on the southern slope of the Winterberg hill in La Petite Pierre, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Vosges du Nord, the Chalet du Rocher Blanc is a detached larch-wood cottage fully renovated in 2016. Set on a one-hectare south-facing property, it offers a sweeping 180° panoramic view over the château de La Petite Pierre, the Kohlthal valley and the Vosges mountains. Spanning 70 m², it welcomes 2 to 4 guests in a cosy and authentic atmosphere: a bedroom with a double bed, an open-plan living room and lounge with a fully equipped kitchen, a warm wood-burning stove, a sofa bed, and a shower room with an Italian-style walk-in shower. The tasteful décor, absolute tranquillity and breathtaking views over the listed medieval castle make this chalet an ideal setting for a romantic getaway, a nature escape or a family holiday. Open year-round, it is perfectly located to explore the finest sites of Alsace: the Musée Lalique in Wingen-sur-Moder, the Cristalleries de Saint-Louis, the Citadelle de Bitche, Strasbourg and its cathedral, Christmas markets, and the Alsace vineyards. Hiking and mountain biking trails start directly from the chalet.

Close to the village centre and family-friendly activities. You will love the chalet for its view, peace and quiet, comfort, décor, cosy atmosphere and wood-burning stove. My romantic retreat is perfect for couples, solo travellers, business travellers and families (with children). Very peaceful yet not isolated.

When to visit?
Open all year round: spring and summer for hiking and mountain biking, autumn for the colours of the Vosges, winter for the cosy atmosphere by the stove and the Alsatian Christmas markets.
