The host's philosophy
At Mas des Pins, the only luxury we offer is simplicity. Nestled in the heart of 3 hectares of ancient forest in the Alpes de Haute-Provence, our estate offers unique accommodations — elevated cabins and transparent bubble domes — designed to blend harmoniously into nature without disturbing it. Here, there is no artificial lighting in the forest, only composting toilets, locally sourced meals, and open-air showers: a sincere invitation to slow down and reconnect with what truly matters.
How to get here without a car
When to visit?
Spring and summer (April to October), ideal for enjoying starry nights, outdoor showers and the song of the cicadas. The property closes in mid-November.
Local producers involved
Artisanal cured meats from Thoard (rosette, caillette, dry-cured ham), Thoard goat's cheese, caramelised local apples and estate apple juice, local vegetables for homemade quiches and tarts.
