Domaine de Massacan is an exceptional holiday centre and stopover gîte managed by the non-profit association Poil de Carotte, located in the commune of La Garde, near Toulon (Var, PACA). The estate belongs to the Port-Cros National Park (extended in 2016) and has held the prestigious 'Esprit Parc National de Port-Cros' label since 2020. The property sits within a 3-hectare park of centuries-old trees, offering direct private access to Magaud beach (part of the national park). A rare and distinctive feature: sustainable accessibility via urban bus connecting Toulon harbour, the city centre and the TGV train station (lines 6 and 23, Magaud stop). Total capacity of 85 beds distributed across gîtes and hotel-style rooms (double and single), some of which include PRM-adapted bathrooms (for persons with reduced mobility). All rooms have a private bathroom. Bed linen provided (towels not provided). Camping also available. On-site catering offering standard meals (starter, main course, dessert, wine and coffee) or set menus at €24 / €29. Meeting rooms with very high-speed internet access — seminar room hire available. Ideal for groups of 15 or more throughout the year: training courses, professional seminars, working sessions, celebratory events (family gatherings, weddings, birthdays outside July/August), holiday stays for all ages from children to seniors.
