For over 600 years, the Simmet family has cultivated the art of hospitality and farming at the heart of the Bayerischer Wald National Park. How to get here without a car
When to visit?
All seasons: summer for hiking and swimming in natural pools, winter for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and the cosy atmosphere of the badehaus.
Local producers involved
The Pausnhof cuisine is built around vegetables from the in-house kitchen garden, beef, lamb and poultry from their own organic farm, as well as game, mushrooms and berries gathered from the nearby forests of the Bayerwald.
