During your stay, Jiwa is entirely yours: a living natural pool, a wood-fired sauna, a forest massage bale, and The Blue Cup Warung kitchen. Cuisine prepared with local produce from the garden and neighbouring farmers. A genuine eco commitment: recycled plastic pool edging, wastewater treatment gardens throughout the property. Bamboo Bungalow
Cozy and private, the Bamboo Bungalow is an escape unto itself. Perched just above a clean, flowing river and hidden away by the surrounding forest, this space is perfect for singles or couples looking to share an experience with nature. This room has plenty of windows for ample amounts of natural light. The partially open bathroom allows for warm afternoon breezes, bird song, and the sweet scent of flowers and fruiting trees. A small, private balcony gives guests an up close view of the jungle and all its treasures.

Tedd Wakeman, ancien éducateur durant 30 ans, a concrétisé son rêve en créant Jiwa Eco Escape au cœur des dernières forêts primaires intactes de Bali, sur les pentes du Mont Batukaru. Sa philosophie 'do no harm' guide chaque décision, de la construction en bambou et bois local aux jardins phytoépurateurs qui traitent les eaux usées directement sur la propriété. Jiwa n'est pas qu'un refuge de luxe doux : c'est un engagement sincère et profond pour préserver la biodiversité exceptionnelle d'un territoire qui alimente en eau un tiers de l'île entière.

Quand venir ?
Jiwa Eco Escape est idéalement visité durant la saison sèche balinaise, d'avril à octobre, lorsque les forêts du Mont Batukaru sont lumineuses et les rizières d'un vert éclatant. La saison des pluies (novembre à mars) offre une atmosphère plus mystique et une végétation luxuriante, mais avec des précipitations fréquentes en altitude.
Producteurs locaux associés
La cuisine du Blue Cup Warung s'approvisionne principalement auprès du jardin potager et des forêts nourricières de la propriété, complétés par des agriculteurs locaux du village de Karya Sari et des environs de Pupuan, producteurs de riz, légumes tropicaux et fruits frais.
