How we evaluate and verify each property — from the application file to publication on the platform.
The host submits a complete file: official certifications, supporting documents (solar panels, composting…), photos, description of practices. No self-declaration without proof is accepted.
Our team verifies each certification directly with the issuing bodies (EU Ecolabel, Clé Verte, etc.). Expired or falsified certifications result in immediate rejection.
The score is calculated out of 100 points across 6 weighted dimensions. Each point is awarded based on documented evidence, never on promises. The detail is publicly visible on each listing.
For properties requesting the 'ecobooking certified' badge, a field audit by an independent partner is conducted. This badge is awarded only to properties with a score > 80/100.
Once approved, the property is published. The score is updated annually. In case of loss of certification or a traveller report, the score is revised and the property may be suspended.
